Mercedes-Benz AMG GTS A New Look Leave a comment

When our authorized dealer The Auto Art decided to prepare something for the Chicago Auto Show, little did we know what they had planned. The tuner decided to utilize a gorgeous Mercedes-Benz AMG GTS to showcase their abilities & work quality. The vehicle, a gorgeous looking coupe with plenty of power, clearly seemed like a great foundation for a build like this. The AMG GTS is powered by a handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 Biturbo with dry-sump lubrication. In the Mercedes-Benz AMG GTS, this engine will deliver a whopping 503 horsepower and peak torque of 479 lb-ft of torque. With this amount of power & torque, this allows the vehicle to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 3.7 seconds.

For many, this is a perfect starting point for a show build like this.

The complete Prior Design PD800GT Widebody Kit is what first comes into focus when this vehicle is concerned. The added width to the body of the SLS AMG GTS gives the high-performance vehicle quite a unique appeal, but also, gives plenty of space for a set of aftermarket concave wheels. In turn, it was up to us to create the perfect setup to complement the aggressive looks of the vehicle itself.

For this build, the tuner chose a set of ADV10.0 M.V2 CS Series wheels. Coming in sizes of 19×9.5 and 20×11 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels come with a Polished Liquid Smoke with clear finish. Additionally, the 50/50 Exposed Hardware option puts the perfect finishing touch for these wheels.

Furthermore, the AMG GTS seen here features a complete satin balloon white pearl paintjob. This, in combination with the finish of the wheels, makes for a perfect combination for this vehicle. The Capristo performance valved exhaust system adds the additional performance upgrade and improves its sound, while the Renntech rear wing and a Renntech Coilover system adds that perfect finishing touch.

It’s safe to say that this build ws a huge success & a great attraction at the Chicago Motor Show, solidifying The Auto Art and their role in the Mid West aftermarket tuning scene. You can take a look at the complete build gallery of this build right below.
